Lake Wyman Park here in Boca Raton is apparently going to get another round of improvements:
Flooding and lack of parking have disappointed many baseball players and their families at Lake Wyman; hopefully these issues will be addressed along with the changes to the waterline.
There are also some impressive middens behind the game fields, piles of shellfish refuse left behind by pre-Colombian residents of Boca Raton, hundreds if not thousands of years ago. What’s sad is how little is know and documented about these remains, yet there’s been little said about these most notable features within the boundaries of the park.
What do you think about the new work that’s planned for Lake Wyman Park?
